Before entering into Thrive Themes, I tried different plug-ins. I was not familiar with it back then and I had no intentions of spending on this stuff. I was thinking that it was fine to research and download whenever I needed it even
if it takes time just to save money. My first WordPress experience gave me confusion. I didn’t know which of which would suit my site best, I didn’t kn
ow which plug-in would be much helpful for it. I even came to the point wherein I installed all the plug-ins I saw on every YouTube tutorial I watched. What I did was to try a certain plug-in for a day, and then tried another one the next day. I did this to several plug-ins which made it difficult for me to assess which one should be my buddy. Trying it out was not the issue, (because if I didn’t try, I would never know) saving the time was.
Unyson and Beaver Builder Lite are awesome. They also provide helpful elements to create a productive website and they are free; such a big help. I used Unyson for a couple of days and switched to Beaver Builder for weeks. Until one day, I decided to take a course VA 202 which is specialized in FB ads and Landing Pages by Mr. Jomar Hilario (The Philippines’ Virtual Assistant Guru). Its first video was a tutorial on how to design a website using Thrive Content Builder. I was a bit surprised because I never thought to download it was the first part of the lesson. But in all fairness, the convenience of using it was greatly explained. I then signed up to be able to explore it. However, it took me a week to prepare the payment because of its cost and I will share some reasons why I find it convenient according to my experience.
Plug-ins and themes are well-organized together with the tutorial and forum. They are laid out in one dashboard to avoid confusion.
As what we can see, the options are arranged well for the plug-ins and themes. If you need further assistance, the tutorial button and forum are just a click away. With just one look at the Member’s Dashboard, it’s clear that this will save us a lot of time in doing research about their functions. Each one of them is just so helpful, I mean, if we are to do business, and convert viewers to subscribers, we got all that we need in this package.
It also comes with Member Navigation Menu for additional support for its members. By the way, you can purchase just one plug-in or more depending on what you need without signing up but if you are planning to build a much fruitful site, registering is suggested.
Going back to creating your page, Thrive Content Builder seems to be one-step ahead compared to the other I’ve tried. Editing it is now much easier because you don’t have to reload or to click “View Page” button just to see its current appearance. Like what Sir Jomar said, “What You See Is What You Get” here. Advanced options for its elements are also an advantage against others.
Before, I still had to check the site on my phone to see if everything was in order, but now, I just have to click some buttons from where I am editing!
The screenshot below is the first page I have done using Thrive Content Builder. The format was from the tutorial and I never imagined I’d be able to copy it in just a few minutes!
