During my first attempt in studying these tools, I was quite hesitant. Why? Because I know it would need time and effort to understand them. But I came to realize that it would cost me more time in getting the job done without these tools. Every tool has something different to offer. Every tool has its own unique way of catching you when you feel like something can never be done! Lovely right?!
So let me spare you some of my knowledge about them. I made some tutorials and I hope you enjoy using the tools too!
First on my list in Canva. It is a very cool app to use because there are lots of templates and designs you can choose from which are also editable. It has a very user-friendly navigation. It allows you to create professional looking business cards, letterhead, flyers etc.
I always thought that making printed materials would drive me crazy and would take me years to finish! But with Canva, I never felt the same way again. (LOL)
My first attempt on Canva was a book cover. I tried to make a design following someone else’s. I was actually surprised because I never imagined that it would appear almost the same! I also had my friends check and compare them and there were amazed too! One of them did not even realize they had differences until I told her about it. But of course, it’s not about copying someone else’s design. I just want to show you how easy Canva can be navigated. Through Canva, you’ll be able to have your own style creatively. ENJOY!
Now, have you ever heard of a digital notebook? A notebook that is more than handy? Well, Evernote is the answer! It allows you to organize your notes and bring them anywhere you want! Amazing right? It also has this thing called “Web Clipper” which makes it much easier to keep the links and pages which are important to you and everything will be discussed in the tutorial.
Before I decided to consider Evernote, I really didn’t want to keep my notes digitally because I wanted them all written in my physical notebook, which I am still doing now. However, Evernote has given me features which made me understand how convenient it is to have a digital one also. It organizes all my notes in just one dashboard. I can even have it linked to a website of my choice. Because I have to admit it, writing links on a piece of paper is not wise because it is time-consuming. Copying and pasting it however on a notepad or email is an option but it’s sometimes confusing. Sometimes, I even forget where I’ve pasted it! Thanks to Evernote!
Let’s move to the next tool now. GetResponse!
If you are handling emails, I’m certain that GetResponse will be a great help. Having a large number of audience is lovely but without being able to respond and communicate with them efficiently can sometimes affect your productivity. GetResponse helps you collect your emails, helps you respond to it all at once without spending much time. Keeping in touch with a lot of clients seems easy now since you can organize and even schedule when to send them! Cool!
The next one excites me too! A lot maybe familiar with this already but what makes me love this tool is the convenience it gives you to carry your files with you wherever you go! Google Drive is a tool which allows you to save videos, photos, documents and sound files online. Running out of storage from your flash drive is never too much of a problem now because of Google Drive. Before, I was always worried of how much a file would consume space from my computer or even from my phone. Until I met Google Drive! It saves the day!
Do you need help in checking if your grammar is correct? Because posting your thoughts on social media without knowing your grammar is incorrect is really embarrassing right?! Writing articles on your blog needs proofreading to make sure that you are not only raising awareness about your advocacy and other stuff but to also raise awareness about proper usage of English. And actually, there are times when we feel like everything seems to be wrong when we don’t have someone to check it for us! I mean, whenever you have a handful of things to do and proofreading your own work confuses you already, it’s time to call Grammarly! You can also use this tool to check different kinds of documents! High Five!
For those who have lots of social media accounts, say Hooray! People who are guilty of this would sleep with a smile on their faces once they get to know Hootsuite. Yeah, Hootsuite! Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and a lot more can be managed in just one dashboard. Posting on social media at once is doable and will make you want to sign up for more accounts (Lol, just kidding). The main point here is the advantage of doing the same posts on different social media accounts at the same time. Oh, and scheduled posts? Not a problem! HootSuite, at your service!
The safety of our information online is always a first. Securing our password is not something new. But the question is, how do we remember all the passwords we have especially if we have tons of accounts online? Do we get confused? If yes, you might want to consider LastPass! With LastPass, you don’t have to worry about forgetting or getting your passwords mixed up. Entering a certain password to a wrong account will not be a problem! It will also save you time because it automatically enters your password everytime you want to log in to your accounts online! Superb!

So, by the end of the day, you can assess yourself if you’ve been using your time wisely or not, so you can exert more effort the next day. Let’s get productive!
